The Brave One

This is a scene from the recent film, The Brave One, that hit theaters last week. The film stars Jodie Foster as Erica Bain and Terrance Howard as Detective Mercer. Foster's character is involved in a New York City gang attack where her fiance is killed. Howard (Detective Mercer) is set on the case and the two set out to find the gang members. Bain decides to take matters into her own hands and Mercer is forced to follow her as she goes on a violent rampage looking for the killers.

Superbad

Superbad is the story of two high school friends, Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michal Cera), who come to the realization that college will separate them and decide to go to a high school party to satisfy some of their early-life goals (such as losing their virginity and becoming incredibly inebriated). The two friends enlist their third buddy, Fogell (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) to get a fake ID and buy alcohol. Unfortunately, he runs into a robbery while at the liquor store...

From there, the humourous plot continues, though slightly risky at times. Overall, this movie didn't seem to amuse as much as I orginally thought possible, and though it was humourous at times, other time it was just foul.
